The parish celebrates Croatian culture with programs of music and dance, with homecooked dinners and spit roasted succulent lamb, pork and chicken as well as fresh baked strudels, povitica, cream puffs. Games, raffles and a grand silent auction are sure to entertain all ages. Grant Kozera Band is sure to get you dancing from 3–7 p.m. The grounds are filled with opportunities and the church hall offers a relaxing air-conditioned space to sit, eat and visit. Historic St. James at Sag Bridge Church in suburban Lemont will host an Inaugural Holiday Faire, this Saturday, July 21, from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 22, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will take place at Saginaw Hall on the Church’s grounds located at 10600 South Archer Avenue in Lemont. The Holiday Faire is just one event celebrating St. James’ 185th Anniversary this year.
