Key Lime Dip with Fresh Strawberries

(and other fruit)


4 oz. softened low-fat or fat-free cream cheese

1 cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt

¼ cup granulated sugar (or Splenda granulated)

one slice fresh lime (for garnish)

zest and juice from 1 lime: 2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon lime zest

2 cups whole strawberries, washed
In a bowl, beat cream cheese and yogurt until well combined.

Add the granulated sugar, lime juice and continue beating on low until mixed.

Add lime zest and stir.

Transfer dip to a serving bowl, garnish with fresh lime slice.

Serve with fresh strawberries or other fruit.  Store leftover dip in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.  Yield: 4 servings


Recipe note:  This refreshing dip is excellent with fresh peaches, mango, blueberries, raspberries and other fresh or frozen fruit.
